About Andy
Andy graduated with his Master of Arts in Counseling from Spring Arbor University and has been in practice in Kalamazoo since 2012. He is a licensed therapist through the State of Michigan.
Andy believes that each of us was created beautifully and meant to live with joy, but that throughout the course of life, we experience brokenness, pain, loss, regret, and different forms of trauma. Therapy is a process by which we examine how we hurt and explore how to heal.
While the process of therapy leverages many different tools and approaches, he typically begins from a position of relational impact. That is to say, he look first at how different relationships in life have impacted our ability to live life according to our original, beautiful design.
While he may not be the first or final step of your journey, he promises to help you find the right path forward. He commits to knowing you well, learning your needs, and partnering with you in building a hope-filled approach to healing and restoration.
